In 1912, Grandpa Leonard Swynar settled in Pansy, Manitoba with his family from Ukraine. He and his brothers used horses for farming every day. His positive attitude and many stories are sadly missed. In loving memory of Leonard T. Swynar March 5, 1910 - December 9, 2005.
A lot has changed since then, but grandpa, along with his son David, did instill in Tara a passion and appreciation for horses. Tara grew up on a Dairy and Beef farm with Draft and Light Horses. Horses were used for work, recreation and show. Derek also grew up on a farm with horses.

We, Derek and Tara Reimer (nee Swynar), own and operate both SWYNAR Tack Shop and Cloud 9 Ranch. Both of us have a passion for horses and are fortunate to spend our days doing what we enjoy. Derek has a Dairy background, is an Auctioneer and an avid Team Roper. Tara operates/manages both SWYNAR Tack Shop and Cloud 9 Ranch as well as competes in horse shows. These businesses are another way we can continue to help other past, present and future horse owners live out their passion. Anything we can do, for the horse’s sake. |
